Its been 7 months since Katrina did the damage to New Orleans and you cannot believe what you see when you drive through the city. There is still so much devastation and people waiting for FEMA to help them. I just cannot believe that we are in the United States of America. It feels to me that everything is just happening so slowly here in New Orleans – And for a South African to say that is unbelievable.

I went to Holly Grove and the 9^th Ward today and I just could not believe what I was seeing. Here is some photos that I took today and then you can see for yourself. There is just so many people that is not going to return to this great city and I can see why.
