Today was kind of a frustrating day. The teams went out to their different ministry sites and me and Tim, the Worship Leader stayed behind to do orientation with the third group that came in late Sunday evening.

After orientation we were on our way to Holly Grove where we were going to work on
an Elder Ladies house. Gutting it and cleaning it out. On our way there the mini van I was driving just started to shake and lost power. The next moment me and Tim were stranded next to the I 10 towards

New Orleans. The great thing about this was, when I phoned Sam, he was literally 200 yards from us just on the other side of the fence. We looked at each other while we were speaking . The good thing about his was that we were only stranded for may be ten minutes – that was awesome. We took the mini van to a work shop and then we tried to get a Rental. The first three places we stopped at did not have anything in stock. So we had to turn around and go back to Reserve. We did get a car there and then we were able to go to the ministry sites.

The teams really did great and they really served the people that they were working with. As I am looking back at the day and evaluating it, I can really say it was a good day with some frustration, but once again the Lord did what He planned to do. He is always in control and uses everything to his advantage. Ministry happened where it was needed.
