   I met u and Kriek when I came with Dennis Brock’s church this past summer to Swaziland. U made us some FABULOUS sandwhiches our first night and offered such sweet fellowship. I enjoyed my time talking w/u very much. This tribute to ur wife is amazing an I thank you for sharing it with us here. While personal for her it is such a tribute to GOD who created her and is the center of ur union. May GOD continue to bless u and Kriek and ur ministry in Swaziland and may u continue to be a witness to “loving ur wife as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it.”

7. I think you forgot she is tiny but mighty! What a wonderful woman of God! There is a number of people from Alabama who know Kriek is the real deal! She truly is amazing! You also forgot that she has an awesome husband! Ya’ll make a great team and it is evidenced in the precious children of Swaziland. Swaziland will never be the same because ya’ll have chosen to say yes to God and allow Him to use you to change the future of this country through its children! Thank you both for being obedient, for serving, for loving, for feeding, for playing, for praying, and even dancing with these wonderful but vulnersble kids! Yes Jumbo, we’ve all seen the video! Shake what your momma gave you! We love ya’ll and pray and think of you often! See you in three months!

8. Thys, I say Amen to every word you have spoken about Kriek! She has a very special place in my heart and even though we are not in contact much, we love her and appreciate her gift of serving and the ease with which she handles all the challenges that come her way! Please give her an extra hug from Kathy & Colin (for she is to us like a beloved daughter), on her birthday and know that you ARE THE MOST BLESSED MAN, because you have married one of God’s most precious handmaidens -CARIKE!!

10. What a beautiful and TRUE tribute. In just the short time I was around Kriek last year, I saw that she AND you are heroes of the faith and heroes for the Swazi orphans.

11. Jumbo, it is so wonderful to hear how you love, cherish, admire and respect your wife. Proverb 18:22 > He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtain favor from the Lord.

    It is apparent that you have favor with the Lord by the love that you show to others each day.You and Kriek are an example of a christian…You talk the talk.. and ..you walk the walk in a lfestyle that is very effective in the lives of many.

    Genesis 2:18 > The Lord said, it is not good for man to be alone;I will make him a helper suitable for him.

    God continued to fulfill that promise when you married Kriek.
