Two weekends ago Jodi, Marius and I (Kriek) went down to Nsoko with the visiting ladies from GA to be part of a special celebration. They were honoring one of the gogo’s in charge, Gogo Elizabeth. Pastor Gift thanked her and encouraged her, he gave her a new dress as a gift (and he gave her some uncooked meat from the cow that was slaughter in her honor). Then we got to pray over her! It was so cool, but not only did we get to pray over her, we also prayed over ALL the ladies attending the ceremony. Oh, it was so good to lay hands on these ladies. They lined up in front of us; we laid hands on them and prayed for them. We experienced the Spirit leading us to pray for each one differently. (Oh Gary, it was soooo good to speak life over these women!)

I was also sent there by Julie as her representative to hand over the new sewing machines to the ladies of the Nsoko care points. The ladies are joining Julie’s coop (the one making purses) and we are all excited about it. I got to thank the ladies, welcome them and encouraged them.

I truly enjoyed this opportunity I had to minister.

Oh, but of course was it raining in Nsoko and everything was nice and muddy. I also got to take Gogo Elizabeth home afterwards and I had to put my car in 4×4 in the muddy road to her house. So much fun!!
