Silver lining
We just finished our prayer meeting here at the office and I can really experience that we are approaching the crunch time here before all our trips leave for the summer. We made a list of prayer requests and it was depressing to say the least. Relationships being broken up, young people that died,
people that are dying and loved ones that are sick.
Now you can ask me how can there be a silver lining in this list. Well, I just realized that it is so important to celebrate life and when life is pushing you to just be quiet and remember what the Lord still has in store for us. I know that we do not know what that is, but there is so much security in the fact that He is always in control. Even through all the trials and prosecution that we as his children and disciples need to go through – there is one fact that will always be unmovable and that is that we are in His hand and nothing can pull us out of it.
Abraham Lincoln said the following and it is so true: “ It is not the years of your live that counts, but the live of your years.”
So lets make the most of the time we have on this earth.
