Urgent family prayer request
Four weeks ago Jumbo’s dad went for surgery to freeze a nerve around his jaw that has been giving him trouble. At first we thought the surgery was successful and he had no pain for two weeks, but then the pain came back and it was worst than ever. He can hardly talk, sleep or eat, because the pain is excruciating and constant. Friday he went to see a neurosurgeon, and the neurosurgeon immediately saw what was wrong.
Bottomline …. He needs surgery in his brain where they will have to collapse part of his brain to get to the affected area. Then they need to put a cushion between the hyper sensitive nerve and the blood vein. The shocking part of this diagnosis is that this surgery will cost nearly $30 000 (R200 000). Jumbo’s dad has no health insurance, so we can only trust God for the money.
We cannot let Jumbo’s dad live like this, so we are looking at all options to see how we can make this happen. We sincerely ask for you prayers for God to open the right doors or provide the funds that we are lacking, so that Jumbo’s dad can be pain free.

Negotiate! Hospital and the physician love to negotiate for those who are up front and willing to make payments. Find out what the payment from a local HMO is, you will be surprised how little they pay usually 20 cents on the dollar and offer that as payment in full up front.
The other piece is I have been a part of this surgery many times and it is safe and very effective in ending the pain!
I pray for our sweet Jesus to touch your dad and for his complete healing to come.

The local Provincial Hospital’s General Medical Manager has agreed to contact his equivalent at the Steve Biko Training Hospital in Pretoria, in a bid to have your Dad admitted there – at about 1% to 5% of the price.
However we, your Clara’s Granny and Grampy will continue to pray for Oom Johan’s complete healing.
Excited to see some help coming with the price of it….. praying for the ultimate solution- his healing provided by the Master Physician……

Father God, in Jesus name take control of this situation, heal, restore, replace and fix whatever needs to be fixed without this very intricate procedures to be done as it sounds extremely dangerous, we entrust this issue into Your capable hands and ask again, in Jesus name, HEAL FATHER. Amen!
Trusting our GREAT PHYSICIAN for Jumbo’s dad. There is a sweet peace in knowing we are children of the King of Kings who just happens to be called “THE GREAT PHYSICIAN”! So thankful that HE owns the cattle on a thousand hills and this money things is nothing to HIM. Walk in the truth and knowledge that our God SHALL supply all of your needs according to HIS GLORIOUS RICHES in Christ Jesus! Can’t wait for the praise update of how GOD works this all out. Praying now of course!
